The first step toward participating in the regional planning process may begin close to home—with your local transit operator, your city council or your county congestion management agency (CMA). CMAs administer local transportation sales tax programs and play a key role in determining which local transportation projects receive funding. If you are looking for more detailed information about specific transportation projects in your county, you may want to contact your county’s local Congestion Management Agency.
